In an effort spearheaded by the Ted Smith Law Group, $9,000.00 was raised for Copperas Cove ISD’s Angel Fund. This fund is used to pay off student lunch debts accumulated throughout the year. In Copperas Cove, every student is provided a hot lunch, irrespective of their ability to pay. As such, a student’s account may go into the negative. These funds will help zero out these balances and makes sure that the debt is not having to be covered by the District.
